Fit Frozen Desserts
Arctic Zero is one of the first brands to create ice cream with zero guilt. You can eat the entire pint and it still contains less calories, fat, and sugar than just 1/2 a cup of the leading brands of ice cream. Arctic Zero won’t effect your diet goals even if you eat the whole pint. We are all guilty of eating the entire pint of ice cream and all we are left with is major guilt and a stomach ache. Arctic Zero removes all of that guilt and unnecessary calories so that you can enjoy ice cream with zero shame.

Spread The Love
Spread the love! A phrase we must all live by everyday. But in this case, it is the name of a new organic peanut butter and natural almond butter company. Spread The Love was started in the kitchen of the owners as a favor to give out to their guests at their wedding. Little did they know that their simple nut butter party favors would turn into a business.

Expo West 2017
Expo West 2017 has been the best Expo I have ever attended. This was my 4th year attending and it was amazing. There were about 85,000 attendees this year. Saying the show was huge is an understatement. This year there were booths in the Hilton, the Marriott, 3 floors of the Anaheim Convention Center, and the Anaheim Arena. I normally can do the show in 2 days but this year I attended all 3 days. There were so many new organic and natural products that I can’t wait to share with all of you. It is an exciting time for the natural and organic industry. Just by the growing amount of booths and attendees, the organic and natural industry is growing tremendously!
Just a reminder for those of you who are unfamiliar, the Natural Products Expo is where companies from all sectors of the organic/natural industry demo their products for distributors, food brokers, retailers, consultants, health professionals, press members, and bloggers. It is THE show to attend if you have a natural and organic product that you want to demo or if you are on the other side and are looking for products or suppliers.
Trends This Year
- Plant Based Milk
- Paleo and Ketogenic diet products
- More Vegan products
- High Protein snacks and desserts
- Nitrogen infused cold brew coffee

“Good Food Is Not A Luxury, It’s A Right”
“Good food is not a luxury, it’s a right.” This quote right here is everything I stand for. A couple of months ago, I wrote a blog post called “Make America Organic Again“, where I touched on the topic that organic food is a right. This week I went to the new Lucky’s Market that just opened up in Plantation, Florida ( a suburb of Fort Lauderdale). As I walked up to the cash register, I saw this huge quote hung up on the wall. It said “Good food is not a luxury, it’s a right.” I saw it and I immediately took a picture of it. The meaning of that quote is something that I strongly believe in.

A few days ago, I came to realize how “organically thankful” I truly am. Don’t get me wrong, every day I feel thankful. But, I felt it even more in the past few days. I went to my grandparents’ house over the weekend for a family dinner. My grandma specifically bought organic food items to serve at dinner. It just made me so happy when she kept pointing out and saying, “Sara, this is organic, this is organic, and this is organic”, to everything that was organic. Even though my family has supported me on my organic lifestyle for the past 8 years, something the other day sparked in me. I just felt more blessed than ever.

CANDY CORN MILKSHAKE
What is the most traditional Halloween candy you could possibly think of? CANDY CORN! Candy corn is delicious and nostalgic. Traditional candy corn is made with artificial colors and flavors. Sweet’s Candy Company created a natural candy corn. It is made with non-GMO ingredients, no artificial colors, and it is gluten free. The original candy corn is layered with white, orange, and yellow colors. This brand contains a full color on each piece. The colors are made with fruit and vegetable extracts like pumpkin, carrot, and apple. They smell like marshmallows with a hint of orange and lemon. They are delicious! I wanted to make a candy corn milkshake because 1. I love milkshakes! And 2. Because I love candy corn! . This candy corn milkshake is so easy to make! You can make candy corn milkshakes for Halloween and serve them at your parties.
These are the brands and ingredients I used to make this delicious Candy Corn Milkshake recipe. You can buy Sweet’s Candy Corn at Whole Foods Market. Also, if you want to make a candy corn rim on your glass, you can melt an organic white chocolate bar to make the candy corn stick. I used Green&Black’s organic white chocolate. You can find Green&Black’s chocolate bars at Whole Foods Market and most natural markets.
- Put all ingredients into a blender. Blend for about 30 seconds to a minute until all the candy corn is broken down and all the ingredients are well blended. Pour into a cup and top with organic whipped cream and crushed candy corn.
- If you are going to make the candy corn rim do this part first.
- Melt the white chocolate bar in either a double broiler on the stove or in the microwave.
- Once the chocolate is melted, brush onto the rim of the cup.
- Put the cup in the fridge for 30 seconds if your chocolate is melty.Make sure you don't leave it in the fridge for too long.
- Take the cup out of the fridge and place the candy corn on top of the white chocolate.
- Place back in fridge for 5 minutes.
- Then blend your milkshake and add in to the candy corn rimmed cup.
- Top with whipped cream and crushed candy corn.
I hope you all enjoy my Candy Corn Milkshake recipe! Have a wonderful Halloween! I hope you celebrate with lots of treats that don’t contain any tricks!
